As a beneficial owner of land held by Te Manawa o Tūhoe, you play a vital role in shaping the direction and purpose of the Trust.
Register as a Beneficial Owner
If you believe you are a shareholder in whenua governed by Te Manawa o Tūhoe, we encourage you to register with us so we can keep you informed and connected.
What you need:
- Completed Individual Registration Form
- Proof of identity
- Proof of land ownership or succession documentation
Once completed, please return the form and documents to the Trust Office.
Register a Whānau Trust
If your whānau has established a Whānau Trust and holds shares with Te Manawa o Tūhoe, you’ll need to complete a separate registration process.
What you need:
- Completed Whānau Trust Registration Form
- Trust order or confirmation documents
- Supporting identification and contact details
Please ensure all documentation is submitted together for verification.

Te Manawa o Tūhoe offers targeted support to owners, beginning with the Kaumātua Grant.
Kaumātua Grant
- Annual financial support for registered kaumātua aged 65+
- One application per person, per year
- Paid directly to the individual or nominated account
Please note: Once registered, you do not have to re-register. If important information changes (such as bank details, or the passing of a Whanau member) please contact us to update our records.
